2011 PPS biennial meeting - Abstract Submission Instructions

Note: Submission of abstracts is due by May 1, 2011. Notification of acceptance decisions will be emailed by May 17, 2011.

Authors who wish to have their abstract published should download and complete the Pulmonary Pathology Society Authorship Form (download here). The authorship form should be either faxed directly to Archives of Pathology & Laboratory Medicine at 847-832-8400 or emailed to archivesofpathology@cap.org by May 1, 2011.

Title: Please put the title of your abstract (e.g. The Role of Apoptosis in Pulmonary Carcinogenesis.)

Authors: Please list the authors of the abstract in the following format (Last name, First Initial, number corresponding to affiliation below). For example Smith J (1), Rollins K (2), Barsomely N (1).

Affilitations: Please list departments and instituions of each of the authors. The affiliations should correspond to the numbers following the authors.

For example:

(1) Department of Pathology, Mayo Clinic, Rochester, MN
(2) Department of Pathology, University of Washington, Seattle, WA

Abstract:

The abstract should be structured in four separate sections labelled as follows:

Context

Design

Results

Conclusion

The total length of the abstract should be a maximum of 254 words.

Email address of corresponding author: This field is necessary to communicate the abstract decision.

Has this work been previously published? Abstracts from works previously published may be presented at the PPS biennial meeting. However, only abstracts not previously published are eligible for publication in Archives of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine.

Do you have any relevant financial disclosures? Yes or no. For example do any of the authors work for or have stock in one of the products or companies mentioned in the abstract. If so please list briefly the nature of the relationship in the area below.
